Forgotten with Time by Ronald Wittington

Silence fills the room
as the light fades to black.
I’m trapped in a tunnel
and I’ve lost my way back.

I fear that I’m losing control.
I’m outside looking in.
The smell of death surrounds me
as the air becomes thin.

Lost to inner doom,
I’m running out of time
as darkness begins to shine.
Insanity takes my mind.

In this world of hate,
so many evil thoughts
flash through my mind.
The end of the world is near
and we all must be
forgotten with time.
